Default Laughlin River Run in Oatman

I love to photograph this event in Oatman. I went early this year to try and get a parking place and to get through town before it's too crowded. I find it really difficult to drive through the town with the bikes parked on both sides and the burros then when another car comes from the other direction!!! But even at 10:00AM it was crowded. Thank goodness I didn't wipe out any bikes driving through town.
My husband rides and it's much more fun to go on the bike but he had to work.

Not sure what the first one is in here for, but some will like it and buy a shirt, just cause. Ya know?

I like the last one being in B&W because while scrolling down and looking, I thought these would make some nice B&W scenes, processed with a touch of grit maybe, or a bit of an HDR look. The 3rd one especially. The second one is funny.

A great set of event photos, Coral.
My wife and I have visited Oatman several times and find it a very interesting place for sure.

So did you like the reprocessed one in B&W or the color version better?

And I never been to Oatman.

I do like the B&W better, thanks Mr. Pickles!
I've been going to Oatman for a long time. Took my nieces when they were young and never had any problems but about a year ago we had family here from England. Kate wanted to feed the burros and so she bought some food. They sell it in brown bags. She was holding the bag in one hand and had some food in the other hand. Well one of the burros went for the bag and in the process bit her hand. The EMT in Oatman thought it might be broken but it wasn't. So if you do go just watch out for their back feet and be careful when you feed them.

Yeah, burros can be a bit fidgety and mean... some horses too, but burros (donkeys to some) like to kick you. I'll get food and when they get 2 feet away just toss it on the ground
