I am a great fan of mr Marten Toonder . Olivier B Bommel (bear) is a Man of standing .. he has a friend Tom Poes and his housekeeper" Joost "

Joost makes simple but well nitriucious food "Eenvoudige doch voedzame maaltijden"

after parking your "sjees" and looking to the right on the bridge over the water you see my temporary place Mr bommel says.

in front of Bommelstein there is a market selling Marten Toonder Books and gadgets but then again mr Olie b. bommel knows nothing about gadgets as he is a man of standing and thoese people read books.

Even in the main centre square there are lots and lots of Bommellaria to be sold

Bommellaria = earlier named books strips, clocks etc of Bommel

Markies de Quanteclere .. he is one of bommels nabours always busy in the garden cutting images of him self..

it is a nice castle .. not so far away but on a steep road (10% climb > 20 km )
with the aircon on 2 it was also heavy for the car..

no Kate .. i was there with the car , and it would nor have been nice to take so one else his / hers bike and drive away.

it was pretty hot about 28 degrees celsius and yes it was fun i also posted it on facebook in dutch with the words marten toonder used to let his creations talk .

that dry humor is not posible to translate ..

So the piece and quiteness are reinstated .. the event was nice and as a Bommelfan it was nice to be there .

now the "normal life " continous again and doorwerth will be doorwerth as it was and will be
