Michael Franti and Spearhead
These were shot on a Canon 50D and 70-200mm f2.8 IS. They were taken from among the crowd, handheld above my head and focused and composed through live view while standing on my toes so as to try to avoid the countless heads and waving arms in front of me...needless to say, not ideal shooting conditions...

I thought the images re-sized to proper viewing size? At least they do on my displays using Chrome.

I am using Firefox.. they do resize here but I still have to scroll over and down to see them. It might be a good idea to size them smaller in the future to accommodate this... or not. Your choice of course. It just makes it easier to view the images properly as you would like them seen.

Like Kate said, the previews are too large for my internet.
Try resizing the images to 800px longside, constraint. Plus I am noticing that you are doing a lot of portrait photos....try more mixture of landscape/action __________________
