I have to say a monitor of this size does look interesting:

I wonder how much lower the prices will drop on these things. A CRT half that size would have cost $2000 ten years ago.

What I find strange is the wide range of different native resolutions for 27" screens.

LG, Acer, HP, LG - all different resolutions for wide screen (16:9).

Right.

I just assume that higher numbers mean a sharper display. But sharpness isn't everything. And so begin the complications...
