Problems with ROES - PhotoCamel

I have downloaded the jnlp file that should execute an instillation of a ROES program for one of the online image print companies. I thought that this was supposed to be like a normal executable file but for some reason I can only get a prompt asking what program needs to open it.

I know that this is a java file but when I select java I see a dos box for a split second and then nothing else. Does anyone know what I can do to get this file to execute properly?

I am running Windows Home Vista 32 bit system.

Jere,
That's strange.
I run ROES right from my lab's server, and I was under the impression that it was like that for all labs.

To launch ROES, I visit my lab's website, log in, click Launch Roes.
Then go to work.

What lab are you using?

BTW...I prefer LabPrints for ordering, but ROES does an outstanding job at ordering PickAPack.
