Default Kelvin Temp for Photography???

Hi

I am hoping someone can assist me, I just got a Eye-One Display 2 calibrator for my LCD monitor and I was wondering what some of you were using for your Kelvin Temperature, I have read that some use 5000K and other seem to use 6500K.

Also any suggestions on what the White Luminance levels you use, again I have heard numbers such as 90 CD, 100CD, 120 CD and 140 CD

Thanks for any info you can provide and also any other suggestions are appreciated.
