Help needed with keywording in Lightroom
Well Lightroom help file says it needs a sidecar .xml file to record keywords in. But I've just successfully added some to a Canon RAW file and wen I made a jpg from that file it inherited the tag as it should.
However, my problem is if I select more than one file in Lightroom, it will only tag the first one selected. Am I making a simple error here somewhere or what cos I know for definite I ave tagged mutli files before in Lightroom. __________________

Is that what the deal is. I am glad you posted your solution. I was extremely frustrated the other night trying to retag some stuff that got improperly imported. I got it to work it the end, but that is not what I thought was the key.

It's working fine now. I don't know why they say you need a sidecar file for proprietary raw files, as LR is tagging mine great.
I still haven't worked out how it selects/deselects though. After doing something on multiple images you'd think clikcing on one of them would deselect the group....no. As I found and had to then go back and try to deselect a tag from a file. That too is cumbersome. Unless it's just me .... |

Nope. It's working fine now for my Canon CR2 files. I'm chuffed to bits with it.
