Default Which Flash Software for Website?
I wanted to create a Flash website for my photos. Question is which software to use. Since I already have Lightroom 2.3, I was thinking of purchasing the "SlideshowPro" for Lightroom (the free presets in the version 2.1 aren't so great). Has anyone used Lightroom for webs applications or can you recommend any other that is just as easy. I also have ProShow Gold, but not sure this would work for anything other than web slide shows.

First question: why flash?

I have Slideshowpro, the integration with lightroom is quite good, but as you mentioned the styles are so so.

If you want to keep it simple, is this flipbook style something for you?

One step up in the line: simpleviewer

If you want to do it all by yourself, but on a budget: look at swishmax

Thanks,Rense. Yes, I want to keep it simple, but would like some flexibility with templates, layouts
text, motion and transitions in case I decide to go that route. Want to keep my costs in line too.

Personally I use swishmax, not flash itself: its easy, costeffective and does the job for me.

At the moment we are rebuilding my gf. site, the flash is all gone except for this part. even the css is not there.

When selecting an m.o. to build a website your first concern needs to be ease of use and versatility for the website users: your audience. Consequently Flash is a poor choice. If only for legibility: afaik text on Flash websites cannot be enlarged (or made smaller), halving the number of people over 40 that will go to the trouble to view it (if not worse).
