Getting .dng files from Lightroom 2 into Smugmug (jpg or tiff)

I am using Lightroom 2 to edit images that are saved as a .dng file. I want to be able to export them to Smugmug which takes tiffs and jpgs. When I use NIK software to edit the images, it converts the images to .tiff which can be exported to smugmug, BUT...and here's my question...what is the best way to save dng files in LR2 to a jpg that I can export elsewhere? Many thanks to anyone who can field this question!

Select the ones you want to save, click export, and tell LR where to save them. You can put in your sizing options and compression levels there. The export screen is also where you select the file type, i.e. jpg, tiff, dng, etc.
