LOL ... mind you: you draw that conclusion not me ... or did I draw that conclusion?

I just stated I never had one. It must have to do with online habits and what kind of email attachments (and from who) I open I guess ... For most of my time using windows I did not even have a virus scanner running. I purchased a one-year license from avira until around last year and did not renew it.

Wonder were YOU got that conficker virus on Windows 7 from? LUA would have protected you.

BSOD? Ah - now we are resorting to that?

LOL ... can't even remember when I saw the last.

avast! took care of it. But that infection on top of Win7's UI sickened me after 5 weeks to the point that I thrashed Win7 altogether. It's just not worth it.

I run Crossover now if I want to use a Win app (like to check how that app's or some website's behavior compares to when it's run in OSX).

Windows is like buttermilk to me: I'll try it once every decade, against my better judgment, only to be re-convinced by the first mouthfull what a foul taste it's got, and that my decision to not use it is the only right one for me.
So the good news – to me – is that I'm free from Windows again for a whole decade.
