Default Converting FLV to AVI?

Does anyone know a good site/ program which allows a person to convert .flv videos to .avi? The program must be able to play the video with the picture (not just the sound). As well as that, when the video is converted, the program doesn’t let (or isn’t able too) show a logo or anything on the converted video? Your help would be appreciated

What are you using for a web browser? Firefox has a plugin downloader(download helper) with a built in converter that does AVI as well as a large range of other formats.

Use flc player. It is free, runs on multiple platforms and available as portable apps.

you could try VLC player......... it plays just about anything, is rock solid, free and runs on just about any platform. nor dose it use windows codecs.

AVI is a container format, it dose not specify the types of compression for audio/video. it is very old and dated. you might try ogg or mkv, if you're interested let me know and ill try to find an easy program.
