Hi
I first thought it was a problem with pbase: my 'original' images were all displaying very dark. I then was in dpreview and noticed the same with others uploaded images. Then I visited pbase again with IE and no problems, images displayed fine. After some googling I found there is a bug and the workaround now is to: 1) In the broswer window type about:config 2) find gfx.color_management.mode and set it to 0 I hope this will of help to others. Ah, no wonder why some of my images were showing too much saturation in colour

here is a good page to read regarding the matter
Firefox 3.5 and color management | blog.patyuen.com At first my firefox did not display different purple blocks at that page. I had neglected to specify adobe RGB in about:config; the setting being gfx.color_management.display_profile, the value being the absolute path of your desired icc profile |

But the colour went down on the "fix", looking at it compared to the photo on Window picture viewer, the colour had gone down quite considerably, which sucks, because I want it to look as shot
