Default Sunrise/Sunset and Moon Positions, Asimuths, Elevations, Times
I am looking for good charts, calculators, software, or tools which will give the following information

1. Sunrise/sunset positions (asimuths) in certain locations at certain days of the year. Ideally I would be able to input a latitude/longitude of the location to get the information.

2. Information on phases, position/asimuth, and elevation of the moon for different locations/days/hours.

Does anyone have any good chart, tool, or website to recommend for this purpose?

I have Googled and so far found Sun or Moon Altitude/Azimuth Table but am wondering if anyone has other recommendations or experience with this.

That one you found is a good one, the only thing it doest show is phase. Most newer Gps recievers will show rise and set times and phase of moon/sun but not azimuth.

We used to use almanacs for that.

Can be...but rarely aren't nowadays. And if there isn't an "online", the situation is probably to the point where I really wouldn't need an almanac or the phonebook. I'm either in a situation where I don't have phone coverage or I've got other things to deal with.

Incidentally, that application on the iPhone doesn't require online access.
