Default Skype for Blackberry?

Recently there was an announcment that Skype for Blackberry would come in May 2009. I have checked and googled but did not find any release date yet. I know there are other solution but they are crap IMHO. I was using fring on my Nokia E71 but they too have no version for skype yet.

I don't know about skype for blackberry, but if your blackberry is wifi capable, isn't that the same thing (if you're talking about VoIP capability?) I don't know much about Skype, but I know my blackberry can get a UMA signal over WiFi when I'm out of range, or if I just want a data connection faster than 3G (which is overrated until the US switches over to the REAL 3G network)

Basically a long winded response to say, "I don't know." LOL
