Hi guys, I’ve narrow down to this two monitor to do critical photoshop work, which one would you recommend for better color performance?
1) Dell UltraSharp 2209WA 22-inch Flat Panel Monitor (IPS- In Plane Switching) 2) Dell G2210 22-inch LED Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor (LED) Thank You. ![]() __________________

The IPS is supposed to be really good for photos. Here's a couple of reviews:
2209WA G2210 I think color reproduction is critical for photo use, and with the first being IPS (good for color reproduction) and the review stating the 2210 has poor color reproduction, then the choice, for photo use, is obvious. |

I'll take a slightly different approach to the question. That being which is the better value monitor. The primary difference I see from the specs is slightly better brightness from the 2209WA. and the 2209 does allow horizontal or vertical view.
I guess the question is how much you would use this feature. If you would use it a good deal then the $50 bucks difference isn't signifcant for the feature and you get the slightly improved brightness for free. I don't think either monitor will be significantly better than the other visually. However for only a $50 difference I'ld go with the 2209. Jim __________________
