Default Mac Mouse

Which one of these things doesn't belong?

(mac mouse for iMac)

Answer: Trick question, they are all the same.

I refuse to buy another one of those 60 dollar POS!

Anyone share this frustration ?

What did you get instead?

Thanks Max.
I may have offended all the mac users with this one.

Fran, I agree with you. It is a POS. I gently tap the mouse against its pad and tap on the button and that seems to get it working for a while, but it eventually quits permanently. Max and Felix have much better solutions than this overpriced POS.

Never liked the mighty mouse, as Apple calls it. Our systems have 3rd party mice attached. My wife just got a $40 Logictech mouse, made for laptops, that is working very well for her.

PS: No offense on the opinion about Apple's mouse. Never liked the tiny balls. :LOL

I've been using Macs for, mmm, 20 years? I'd be one of the first to say a good upgrade is a logitech mouse. I've played with the "might mouse" a bit, but still prefer the basic scrollwheel mice.

Seems to me most mice lost their balls years ago.

(Hope that wasn't too offside for anyone.)

I've had this same problem with the little ball. I did a little google searching about it and it seems as if it's a pretty common problem with the Mighty Mouse. What you can do (and this does work) is turn it over and briskly scrub the ball around on your mouse pad for 1/2 minute or so. I have to do that every so often. Other than the mouse I really love my new iMac.
