Default Where's my paintbrush gone?
It's not really gone! I have photoshop running on my laptop, and for some bizarre reason, the paintbrush (and eraser, and dodge and burn, and all the useful stuff) no longer appears and a circle showing the brush size. It just shows up as a crosshair, even on ridiculously large brush sizes! I looked everywhere on photoshop (well obviously not EVERYWHERE 'cos I've missed it!) and I can't find how to change it back! I know one of the experts here is bound to have the answer!!

If that's not it, you can right click on the tool bar and do a "reset all tools" that should reset everything back to default in case something else has been changed.

If neither of the above work you go Edit>Preferences>Cursor and set it back to normal brush tip or full size brush tip
