Default What's your monitor resolution?

I'm going to donate some of my images to the Desktop Wallpaper section, and I need to know which sizes to upload.

Please let me know the resolution of your monitor.

Very cool. If you'd like to give others the chance to use your work as desktop, consider contributing. You'll be able to keep track of how many have viewed the work.

So how do people get at the full-size image? I just uploaded a 1680 x 1050 and can only get it back at 800 x something ...

Did you click the thumbnail? It opens in a window when I do that.

Yeah, but then what? You can save the image from the window but it's limited to 800 pixels .... unless I'm missing something.

Ah, you were right. I had a setting wrong. Try uploading some more now. Should work and retain the images in native resolution.

Then you could click the thumbnail, right click, and either save the image or set it as your desktop display.

So, how do you get to the wallpapers without following the link from this thread? The wallpaper link under the goodies heading take you to a page that doesn't have the wallpapers in the link above.

Right. You must be using Camel Dark or Camel White. I've only activated it in Camel Light (main theme), since I wanted to work out the bugs.

Nice submission, btw!

So everything's working? If so, I'll open up the wallpaper section to the other themes. Will no doubt have an item about it in the next newsletter, so get your wallpapers in there.

Yep, camel dark. Everything seems to be working in there, at least what I've tried.

As a follow-up, we've created a help system for the wallpaper section. Here it is. Haven't unveiled it officially, yet, but let me know whether it's indeed helpful.
