Default netbook / mini laptop thread

Hi there , i do not want to make a mistake in buying the wrong mini laptop (aka netbook)

What do i want to do with it?
- basic photo editing (adobe photoshop 5.0 lite or album starter 2.0)

what does it need
a sd card reader
minimum 120 gb hdd
windows xp home
2 gb ram
10 "lcd screen

any tips a welcome

I'd say stay away from glossy screens. Not sure you can do that these days, though.

I have an Acer Mini 8.9" with 120 gb HD, 1 gig ram, camera, wireless, Windows XP. Very good buy at Christmas time at $348 and now $298.00 at Walmart.

We have Photoshop CS4, Breezebrowser Pro, RawTherapee and even the Fuji editing program for the S5 Pro.
