Default Find function in Bridge not working, Why?

I've been having trouble using the Find comand in Bridge. I assign keywords to photos. I've checked the metadata to confirm. I hit ctrl F to bring up Find dialog box, fill out the various fields. "keywords, contains, the keyword. Selected search in sub-folders. No matter what I search on the results are aways "no data found"

Do I need to do something to cache the data, or something? What's the point of keyword if you can't search on them?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Adam.

check if this thread provides help:

Adobe Forums - Bridge's "FIND" NOT WORKING!!!

looks like you need to delete the cache to straighten things up ...

Felix,
I got it working. I needed to redirect the cache to new directory. lost all my keywords. What is better; keywords with and no search tool or a search tool with no keywords?

Adding keywords isn't as hard as finding a picture without a search tool.

Anyway, Thank you very much for the help, I appreciate it

Adam.
