We are looking at purchasing an external monitor for my laptop. While I would love to spend a ton of $$$ and get a Eizo or LaCie - I can not afford to. So, I'm trying to get a 24" for around $500. I think I've narrowed it down to 2... Just curious if anyone has these - if they have any +/-'s to share - or if they have other recommendations!
Thanks! Dell 2408WFP NEC 24WMCX __________________

If you can stretch your budget and have a video card that can support it, get yourself a refurbished 30" Dell. They are ISPS panels and are going for $749. Guaranteed to not have any bad pixels and if you search for a coupon you can probably knock another 5% to 10% off that price. I paid $800 bucks for mine about 6 months ago. Used with Lightroom, it is the best monitor I have ever used for doing editing on. Just be sure to calibrate it.
