Lightroom 2.2 Bug??

I recently upgraded from Lightroom 2.1 to 2.2 and found that it takes about 10-12 seconds for a photo to load in the Develop Mode (compared to my Lightroom 1.4.1 taking about 4-6 seconds to load). Sounds like 2.3 will be coming out soon. It seems like every time they fix something, another problem arises. I don't use the brushes all that often so it doesn't affect me much.

that's typical of a lot of software development. i'm surprised it doesn't happen more often with commercial software as it is. (as a side note, the way to prevent bugs like that from coming out is to have a suite of automated repeatable tests so that you can do a regression test of all your code on every change. but even then, like that old saying goes, you're only as strong as your weakest link? in this case, you're only as safe as your tests are complete, comprehensive and non-trivial. )

anyway, that's a quick turnaround, so you can tell it's a pretty high priority for them.
