Is there any way I could record information regarding my images on a digital voice recorder (or MP3 recorder which has voice recording capability) and then convert it to written text without having to manually transcribe it?
What about using a program like Dragon Dictates to convert from audio to text? or is there another way? Writing down information in the field really slows me down but, I want to have the information. __________________

I will record my information using a MP3 player with record capability. In my case, a Samsung YP-T10 (which will allow me to do a lot more than just record my voice).
I will then transfer the MP3 files to text using a Wave to text converter which is described as follows: Useful for converting MP3, WAV or WMA recordings of continuous speech recorded using pocket size recording devices or laptops, palmtops etc Outdoor recordings Voice Notes Voice Event Descriptions. Good question. I think Dragon NaturallySpeaking will work directly with digital files, and some digital voice recorders produce these. I have to look into this myself. Let me know if you decide on a particular digital voice recorder model.

DNS won't work with just any digital recorder.
I know that it will work with the Dictaphone 5250. Dave __________________
