Question about laptop monitors

So I'm in the market for a new laptop in the next month or so and I'm confused. Isee the options listed here below. Someone kindly explain what the difference is and if adding the $150 option is worth it or not for a computer that will be used for internet and photoshop.

Thanks for the info. If I knew the orange was Auburn Orange I'd go for it. But if it was closer to Tennessee Orange, I couldn't live with that. So I'll go for black, ruby red, or midnite blue.

Too bad they can't do a custom Mojo swirl!

I would probably go with the pink or purple personally. It would be seriously cool to make a custom cover! They do that with cellphones don't they? Of course, now I am thinking of the movie, "They Shoot Horses Don't they!"

I have a martian pink bee. Emily and Gracie wanted me to get it so I did. My other bees are black and alien green. They've got an orange limited edition one now, but money will not be there.

The only thing I might add is the hi capacity battery if you intend to use it away from 115v power at all.

I have purchased two Dell 15 series laptops in the last year. One is on it's third hard drive and the other is waiting to have the hard drive replaced. I had to purchase another brand just to have a reliable portable. I did not loose much of my info dueto backups. But I no longer trust the Dells. The other brand has been reliable..

If you plan on doing lots on it like in hours and hours in front of the screen get the largest LCD screen you can afford. I got a Compaq about 3.5 years ago it is 15.4" and spent like 16 hours a day on it and loved it. Still do but don't use it much as I have a new desktop with a 24" and you can't beat that for picture editing at 50% size and not have to scroll sideways only up down.
