Default Font Managers

Are any of you using a Font Manager? If so, what are you using and are there any good free ones out there? Ive Googled this and having a hard time finding a free one thats not Mac. Dont want to pay $90 for one.

Apparently, Adobe has discontinued their version but left a lite version out there for free. Problem is, I cant find any info about the lite version if it will do what I want it to.
.
I've aquired a lot of fonts and I think its slowing my computer down.

Not sure exactly what your needs are but perhaps this might be of help, I've used it for a long time.

I have not used one before so I was wondering about how it (or any font manager) works. I put fonts into catagories I create (cursive, grunge, etc.) and then I guess the font manager loads just that catagory into windows fonts folder to access from photoshop or whatever program I'm using?

Thank you for the link Alex, I will check that out.

Ok, got it installed. My only gripe with it so far is that the guy that built it didnt give any detailed instructions on how to use it. I guess I'll figure it out eventually.

The key words font and manager seems to attract spambots, specially those posting dictionary definitions of some of the found kywords. One entry by the spammer jackjames1 is right now above your entry. When the administrators deal with them, the users and all their posts are erased.
