Default Removing LR2 trial version on a Mac

I am new to the Mac environment ( using Os X 10.5.4) and wish to remove the trial version of Lightroom 2. I have LR 1 which runs fine but LR 2 freezes the Mac. How do I go about removing LR 2 version? Any help appreciated.

Hmm, have you tried just deleting the folder under /Applications? If that doesn't work, then I've often found that once mounting the DMG file there will be an option to uninstall the app.

I haven't tried anything yet Paul cause I did not want to screw the system up and possibly have LR 1 not work. I don't know what the DMG file is, sorry. Like I said, I am a total newbie to the Mac. As far as placing the folder into the trash, I was afraid that, like all other Adobe products, that there would be orphaned dll's still in the system.

Normally you can move the folder under /Applications into the trash without ill effects (you can always move it back later unless you regularly empty your trash). Mac programs are pretty much self contained, which is why you can move the 'app' around and all the resulting files and directories go with it. If you're feeling brave then give it a go .
