Anyone know where I can get the best price on a legal version of CS3 (Windows version) that has a good reputation of not ripping people off? Some of the venders sound too good to be true on their prices so they probably are. Any info would be appreciated.

I just bought my girlfriend an unregistered full version of CS2 on eBay for $219.00 including shipping. And I am waiting on a $42.00 rebate from microsoft live which will bring the price down to about $175.00. Then, you can buy the upgrade for $199 so you have less than $400 in a full version.
I got my full version a few years ago by buying PS5 for $65 and then buying the upgrade to PSCS for $199. I have since upgraded to CS3. Just watch the sellers feedback and make sure of what you are buying. Good luck! sj |

I know it is not CS3 but there is a free clone of PS called Gimp GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program It has many of the features and is free to boot. No I am not related to site or program in any way. I was looking for free programs that I can install on my work computer and found this one. |

I would suggest looking at Adobe PhotoShop Elements, 90%of the full PhotoShop program at a greatly reduces price. If you have been a Elements user there is a special pricing for an upgrade from Elements to PhotoShop available direct form Adobe (or there was when I upgraded).
