I just purchased a 8gb extreme III sd card for my nikon d80, the problem is when I insert the card into my pc card reader nothing happens, when it tries to read I get the message "the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error" I have tried this on 2 different pc's, the only way to access the card is by hooking up the camera to the pc. any help would be appreciated.
EDIT: just did a google and apparently you need a special sdhc reader for these cards, i forgot that the card came with a small micromate reader, once I used this the pc recognized the card. thanks __________________
