I have a listing of files in my panorama folder on my website.
Specifically Index of /pictures/! Photography/Panorama It looks ugly and boring. Kind of useless as is, frankly. I've finally decided on a naming convention and am wondering if there is an easy way to automate "making that folder look pretty". I'm going to be tossing a dozen or so more files up there and while I could just do it all in notepad, I'm wondering if there is a better way. As much as I like playing with tables and stuff in notepad, I'd like to find a wysisyg editor with a spellchecker ![]() __________________

Are you looking for a HTML editor? Or a gallery development app?
For HTML, your best bet is to search a bit and try some out. I prefer Dreamweaver but it's not cheap. If you're looking to build a gallery just by itself, Adobe Lightroom has a web module that will build galleries in multiple formats. Or you could download the free version of SimpleViewer, which works very well. |

Funny, I just mentioned this in another thread, but it fits here as well. If your hosting provider has a control panel for your site, see if it has access to Coppermine. It's a free image gallery that allows you to organise your photos in different albums. It will even resize your images for you.
It's a script program designed for community sharing of images, but you can turn off the option to allow others to upload images. __________________
