Help, I have seen several websites, including sites from some of the photographers we see here on Photo Camel, that use flash to show images. I have no experience with flash although I do own Macromedia Flash and Fireworks. I have designed several websites but I want to change the look and feel of my website.
I realize it will be a long road (isn't it always) but I need to do something new with my sites. I would appreciate any insight to this issue. I would like to know if there are any programs or quick sites where I might pickup some tips. Thanks, Al ![]() __________________

I think you first have to ask yourself if you want the viewer to sit there idly while the program loads. I did not, so when I recently redid my site, I intentionally stayed away from Flash. I've built a Flash site, and have seen some nice ones; but I always hate the time it takes to load them.
If you still decide you want to go with Flash, I suggest you do search for Flash templates to get an idea what can be done. Jack |

Flash can be loaded in stages, behind the scenes, so the delay in seeing the program isn't much of a factor any more.
Templates are the fastest way to go from concept to publishing. I'm taking the slow route, though, and using training from Lynda.com. __________________
