Of course. Just like you have to log in with a username and a password for this one. Or any number of others.

Have fun!

That depends on the technology you are using for your site. Google "password protect website [technology]" including the quotes, and you will tons of information. Insert PHP, ASP.Net, or whatever you are using on your server for [technology]. Some of the easier scripts may cost you.

I was talking about in general. Because i want to be able to have a password so that you cannot enter websites without putting in the password. I have been asked because my sister visits sites she shouldent like facebook and i have been asked if it is possible to password or lockwebsites out.

Thanks

You can lock websites out in IE7. In Internet Explorer, look under Tools > Internet Options. Under the Content tab you can use the Content Advisor to lock out specific websites.

Look under the Approved Sites in the tab next to Ratings. You can put in a specific website and say whether to allow it or not.

Go back under Tools > Internet Options > Content > Content advisor Settings. Under the General tab, click the "Users can see websites that have no rating" box. That should let you see everything that isn't "restricted."
