D300 and RAW for Adobe Bridge (having problems)

I installed the raw plugin (D300) for CS3 and it works fine its also supposed cross over to bridge but its not I'm still getting small thumbs.
I checked on the adobe exchange and it says if this happens to go to tools/cache/purge central.I'm not getting that option just the cache for the folder thats up in the veiwer.
I tried adding the raw file directly into bridge plugins but no go.

Try, in Bridge, Edit>Preferences>Cache>Purge Cache.

Nope didnt do it either.
I'm wondering if bridge mimizes thumbnail size according to file size.

Open Bridge, go to folders, open folder. In lower right corner there are 3 boxes for different thumbnail layouts. Just to the left of the 3 boxes is a slider that changes the size of the thumbs. Does this help?

Nope..
It has large sizes for all my older files nef and jpeg just the d300 nef its dosent reconize the upgrade i think anyways.

how odd. I just started shooting raw with my d70 this week because I recently got CS3. they open just fine for me and I am extremely pleased with the capabilities.

D300 was changed my d70 open fine also.

I already installed it for CS3 it works fine there but in bridge its not giving me the veiwing capibilty it should;only thumbnails of the D300 nef files.I even added it to the bridge folder didnt help.

Acording to adobe if this happens you need to purge the cache files i tryed this and no change.

It must be my lucky decade, but mine works fine. I also am able in Bridge to go from the small thumbnail to the full screen preview and all stages in-between. I do not know why you and I are having a difference, but we are. Are you running CS3 version 10.0.1?

Thats what I thought at first..
To get the nef files for D300 installed you have to install the cab file yourself
That part works great it worked in PSE6 as well but bridge just isn't picking it up.

Installing the Nikon Codec for D3/D300 should solve this, David. Disregard that it says for Windows Vista, it works fine on XP.

If you are using a legit licensed copy, then there should be no issue. Don't know anything about any cab file, you need Camera Raw.8bi, and it goes in the Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS3\File Formats for Windows. For Mac, its in Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CS3/File Formats

I don't see how this will help Photoshop work, but maybe. If it is required, and I doubt this, then shame on Nikon.

Legit yes I'm a preferred customer at the adobe store this year..
