CS3 is nothing like ps7 to learn and my CS2 in easy steps is crap to say the least.
Online books whatever fire them out with a review please. __________________

Anything on lynda.com.
Most stuff by Scott Kelby. I was a little disappointed with his Photoshop CS3 Book for Digital Photographers but he took it from a straight photography point of view and I think I was looking for more. He spent more time on Bridge and RAW than I'd have preferred but only because I use Lightroom. Adobe Photoshop One-on-One by Deke McClelland is good, too. |

I had already read his book on CS, and the next edition for CS2 had a lot more info, but the CS3 didn't really jump out at me as having that much new in it. Go here and subscribe for a month. DL all yo can get: Learning @ Your Own Pace® - lynda.com |

David,
One of Adobe's famous "freebies" often accompanying the purchase of either CS3 or a CS3 upsell is a free month with lynda.com. You might check to see if you are entitled to this. I can assure you that it comes in very small print, but it is real. Tom |

martin evening (check spelling) has a good book called "photoshop cs3 for photographers" that is pretty good. while he dosent give you the recipies for the latest effects, he does cover almost all of the features in cs3 as well as touching on bridge, ACR, as well as workflow. the reading is kind of dry and the book weighs a ton but its very handy reference.
