I have 5.0 on two computers. Everything works fine except one thing on one of the computers.
One one computer when I open a saved file, the name of that file shows up on the top light blue area next to where it says - Editor - Photoshop Elements 5.0. On the other computer the file title doesn't show up when a file is opened. Any ideas how to make the file title show up in the blue area? Thanks! __________________

OK - This is weird...I have XP on one computer and the file name shows up there. I have a laptop with Vista and I just noticed that the file name is not there. Looks like I have the same issue, sorry no answer for you.

Maybe you can tweak Vista to show the names, I wouldn't know where to look/go, but my best guess is to check the folder options, as these contain the 'view' settings in XP ![]() ...*my* €0.02... and best-of-luck with Vista ![]() Kindest regards! Max@Home |

Well - I found the answer.
Following Max@Home's suggestion I had a look at the properties for the Photoshop.exe file. I clicked the make compatible with XP Service Pack 2, loaded it and it now shows the picture title in the top line where it is supposed to be. So, it has to be a Vista problem. I had installed Photoshop's update but that didn't help. Anyway, the problem is solved. Here is where you tick that option if anyone is interested. ![]() |
