I use a hand built desktop and a dell laptop. I edit between the two systems on an external hard drive. I have an Asus mother board in my desktop and though I like my dell fine enough I wish I had bought one of asus's laptops.
I recently upgraded to this set, and though I thought about getting a mac, I think mac is a fad, and good computers or not the 'in thing' bugs me. I am comfrotable with my windows based system the few problems I have ever had I can fix on my own, and I don't care what anyone says, the whole image editing is better on a mac is an old wives tale. I have never seen proof or any half heated attempt at backing that up that was any good. And I shoot left eyed. And I play hockey left handed. Other than that all right handed. And I guess I will have to just take peoples word for the whole two eyed shooting getting easier. Cause I have heard of keeping one eye on the subject and one eye through the viewfinder for shooting sports, but it is just wierd to me. Maybe someday I will shoot sports and get the hang of it. __________________

![]() A 'fad' that has been alive and well for 24 years. A 'fad' with a fast growing PC market share, currently at 15%. A near quadrupling in the last 4 years! A 'fad' that trounces the competition in a brand spanking new major head-to-head review. A 'fad'? The inventor of the personal computer – hardware, and OS, and applications, thriving more than ever today, is hardly a 'fad', nasoj! Quite the contrary: it is the de facto establishment! __________________
