I'd agree, except in a few cases. Boston Terriers, even the smaller size, are one exception. For the most part, I like larger dogs. I grew up with GSD's and a Newfoundland as members of the household.

Another big vote for gentle wipes with a dry microfiber cloth. Clean the microfiber cloth with water. Just say no to expensive cleaners.
