Default IPS monitors

Are these types of monitors good for photo editing?

Personally want to get a new monitor that has a good viewing angle and good Adobe RGB rating, but I do indulge in a bit of gaming if not other activities on my computer

No, I don't need advice which monitor to get, just whether IPS monitors are good for photo editing

Do you have one, as a manufacturer says that they suffer from IPS glow, I am wondering to whether that will affect the overall contrast of the photos

I have 2 24" ASUS PA246Q ProArt IPS monitors and have had no issues with either of them.

What about IPS "bleeding" or back light bleeding, is that a problem?

Now that I have an IPS panel monitor on the way, do they need calibrating like TN panel monitors?

EDIT: I found the answer, and the answer is yes I do have to calibrate IPS monitor

I haven't noticed IPS bleeding, it's down basically to a bad line. I haven't noticed any dead pixels which is more of a problem in IPS monitors than TN monitors
