Has anyone used one of these? does it seem like something that would be worth the money?
I love my drawing tablet and this seems ideal, but it is a lot to spend. http://www.wacom.com/lcdtablets/index_21UX.cfm __________________

One place that I work has two of these, they are large but the quality is good.
The whole screen can be laid flat, that way you can use the pen in a more natural way. Costly = yes Worth it? = depends on your concept of value. FWIW I prefer a wide format screen and a tablet. |

I'm kinda in the same boat. I'm looking at getting a new Mac Desktop this year and I know a want dual screens. I was thinking of making one of them a Cintiq. Is that practical? Can I still use a mouse for "normal" use?

Yes, but remember the 21UX needs usb ports to work (screen position sense etc).
Also if you use monitors with different pixel dimensions then you cannot match their dimensions for ease of use. If the screens are placed L-R and one has deeper dimensions, you can get your cursor "caught" on the overlap. Not critical but annoying. __________________
