Default Mac users - what browser do you use to view this site?

Opera, running on my MacBook Pro Duo, occasionally (actually a bit more than that) needs a refresh to cleanly show the inline images. Bit of a bother.

That's odd. I use Opera to view this site on a PC and it works pretty much perfectly. I also use Opera all the time on my Macbook (although not usually on this site) and I've never seen that problem. Does it happen on any particular page? If you give me an example I'll try it on my Macbook and Opera to see if it's repeatable.

Incidentally, you probably don't need to refresh the whole page - you can right click / control click on the empty placeholder for the missing image and select "reload image" in the context menu.

Cheers,

Tim.

I use Safari and it shows inline images fine. Firefox is ok too. I have noticed some issues with Safari sometimes not showing all of the gifs used to build the menu up top, but haven't been able to nail down the reasons.

Because Safari sucks more than IE and should be deleted from your computer immediately.

Safari. The only issue I have is how many posts are new since my last visit. Sometimes (most of the time, really) it shows too many.

Hello,

Using Firefox here, no problems whatsoever. I was a big fan of Safari when it came out, mainly because it was blazing fast. But as they added more functionalities it became slower and slower. It's been a few months since I checked, but Firefox is fast enough for me now.

Firefox is fast and plays well with every site. Safari doesn't, no matter what Apple says.

Sadly I agree about Safari not displaying every site I've been to correctly, though I've also found that Safari will show the errors on a site whereas Firefox will just sit there hanging. I use Safari 100% at work and Firefox 100% at home and don't generally have issues with either. I prefer Safari overall for it's speed and uncluttered layout.

I have a macbook and imac and exclusively use safari on both. I've tried firefox (not with this forum) and didn't care for it all that much. No issues with safari unless my wireless signal isn't great on the laptop...tends to hang up or not load all the board gifs as mentioned earlier.
