Default Need software recommendation

Hello everyone, I'm a casual photographer who is accustomed to using adobe photoshop elements. I just started using a MacBook pro and love it. How is photoshop elements and premiere for Mac? Or do you recommend other software packages. Thanks

Have to agree with Mr. Pickles, Lightroom. Probably my most used software package.

Give the Gimp a try. Do a search on installing Gimp on Mac OSx. There are one or two additional requirements for the MAC, but they are not that complicated.

The software is free and quite powerful. Additionally, unlike Lightroom, it is a true editor. You have nothing to lose by giving it a shot.

Good luck and happy editing.

Aperture is slow I like LR4/LR3 its faster and LR4 is packed options which is better than LR3.
