Google Picasa2 - great improvement!
I've only ever used Picasa2 for reading images off my CF cards, for which it does the job very well. The one problem I've had with my card reader though is that it never went beyond USB 1.1 speeds - regardless of which app I used, and despite it supposedly being a USB2 device.
The recent upgrade from Google has now started treating the card as a USB2 device, and much faster read speeds  . The app itself also seems a lot slicker without any delays in browsing thumbnails - a worthwhile improvement I think. If I can get it integrated better with Silkypix or Bridge then it makes an excellent thumbnail browser. Much less of a hog than Bridge in my opinion.__________________
