You can get something of a jump on Vista by downloading the Segoe UI font (the new default font for Vista).

It's a very nice font, and one I defaulted to for the pcamel themes I've been mocking up in test. It's not a million miles away from the likes of Trebuchet MS and is in the same font family as far as web viewing goes (so browsers will step down to this if Segoe UI isn't found). Within a year there will be many clients that are using this font - and as Jay has said it's free to grab now if you wish.
