Any Camel love for Olympus FE 350 Wide

I had a Olympus fe 180 wich was stolen at work, after long debates i received money and bought me a Olympus FE 350 Wide.



The Olympus FE-350 is an 8 megapixel digital camera with a 4x optical zoom lens.

The lens is a wide angle lens helping you to squeeze extra detail into wide shots such as landscapes and groups of people. The FE-350 is a point and shoot model and also has a large 3 inch LCD screen.



this is a result of what the olympus fe 350 can achiveve , the white balance was set to automatic and iso also.

The olympus has the possibilty to alter the iso and white balance mode , most compacts do not offer this . The resolution effective is 7.9 MP wich is sloe to the 8.0 MP most compacts in this range have a larger fall off.

Some reviews on the internet say it is slow , but i do not concur with this , when i compare it to my Nikon coolpix e 7600 it is faster and has a anti shake utilty which the e 7600 does not have.

i could buy it with a bag, xd card of 2gb , 2 years waranty, lcd cover protection for just 150 euro (normally the camera was just 130 euro but without xd card , bag, lcd cover protection and 1 year waranty)

so for just 20 euro extra i got :
- extra waranty € 79.00
- bag € 20.00
- xd card 2gb € 24,00
- lcd cover € 0,25 (1.00 for 4 sheets)

not a bad deal

with my fe 180 i have shot very nice picutre



the advantages of the FE 350wide above the FE 180 are:

- 2MP more resolution
- 4x zoom instead of 3x zoom
- all glas lens instead of a plastic lense
- Wide angle instead of normal angle lens (fe 180)
- accu instead of aa size penlights
- changeable iso and whitebalance witch the fe 180 could not do
- smaller , thinner and 18 grams heavier
