Well look at this. A Canon G10, under the right circumstances, produces images that are indistinguishable from a $40,000 large format digital camera
Here I bet Canon G10 owners will enjoy reading that article ![]() __________________

Most P&S cameras are good under the "right conditions". I prefer a camera that will still do good under the wrong conditions, that is why I recently purchased a G10 for a back up to my 40D. I did not buy my G10 to replace my 40D, rather it is much easier to carry when I am hiking in the woods.
I would like to read some straight forward input and see some shots from folks that have been using their G10's for a while. |

I don't think ANYONE is claiming P&S will trump dSLR. P&S can work well when you understand and work within their limitations. The point of the article is that the high end cameras are evolving slowly, while the consumer stuff is evolving quickly and under the right circumstances the differences can be indistinguishable. Good luck! Craig |
