Default Ricoh Caplio R3 - my views and opinions

Hi, I recently purchased a Ricoh Caplio R3 and decided to write this review for the benefit of others, as when I purchased the camera the Ricoh Caplio R3 was very new to the market, and initially I had difficulty in obtaining information regarding this product. Yes, I am a bit of a photo nut! I own a Ricoh Caplio R1v, in addition to a digital SLR, a Nikon D70s, and a number of lenses. Whilst my digital cameras capture most of my images these days, I still use my 35mm SLR’s ~ I posses both a Nikon F90 and Nikon F90x and again I have numerous lenses and associated accessories. I also from time to time still use my Ricoh GR-1s compact 35mm. I am passionate about photography, and have owned cameras for over 3 decades. I was an early adopter of the digital age products, over the years owning many different digital cameras. By no means do I say I am a professional photographer, nor specialist product reviewer, but I do hope you benefit from my assessment of this camera. I am semi-retired, with a background in product management and marketing in the consumer electronics field, and this, coupled with my love of photography, along with the help of the World Wide Web, allows me to “say my piece!”

You can see my review at http://www.diginut.com/

I hope it is of use

Hey, thanks for the link. Do you know we have a camera review section here? It would be great if you could add your review directly there. Welcome to the site.

Hey thanks Photo_nut1, I'm looking at buying the R4 but your review is excellent, they are basically the same camera!
