Large-capacity compact flash cards in compact digital cameras
Will today's compact digital cameras generally accept or recognize the full capacity of a 4 GB compact flash card? Or one over 2 GB?

I don't know, but my Coolpix 995 resets its shot counter and starts a new directory whenever more than 200 images appear in the same directory of my CF card. This occasionally happens even at maximum resolution and minimum compression JPEG on my 256 meg memory card. :
