powershot S5ls lens cap

Hi, I bought my granddaughter the Canon S5ls camera a couple of years ago. She has lost the lens cover. I can find no place to buy a replacement but I'm betting someone has come up with something that will protect the lens. I would be most grateful for any help in obtaining some type of protection for the camera lens. Thanks, Mike

I suggest getting a barrel to fit on the end...this will allow her to use filters and converters. It is 58mm so you now can find caps anywhere to fit. She's really missing out if she isn't using some fun goodies.

Hi, I decided to see if I could find a filter to give the lens some protection but when I looked at it appears that it won't take a filter. I am not familiar with the barrel idea. Can you give me some help as to where I could find one so I can get her camera some protection? Thanks, Mike

Thanks Sue. The site you showed was in England and I couldn't find a way to get a shipment to US. I did find some American sites and ordered what I think we need. Thanks again for your help. Mike
