I'd assume it is a bottle top screwer on-er.....? And a nice and clear shot. Good commercial image for sure.

Nicely done, Karl!

The only nitpick I would have is the discontinuous highlight down the right side of the stand, near the bottom. I can see that those dark areas on the bottom left of the stand are reflections of the machine but on the right side the highlight should be unbroken, as it is farther up on the machine.

Thanks. I've been eyeballing that dark reflection too. I'll probably kill it before i turn in the final images.

And yes, it is a bottle cap putter-onner. Serial number one of a new high tech design.

What do you think caused that dark reflection?

The machine is up on a test stand and the turret is pretty tall. The white v-cards had to be supported off the floor to block out the shop in the mirrored guarding. The dark would be from the lack of white cards. I likely could have blocked it by laying another 4x8 foam core against the stands that were supporting the elevated v-cards.

Even though the camera is looking straight at the subject with the back of the camera completely vertical, the lens still is looking down at anything lower than the center of the shot. Because the subject in this case is mirror-like the lens looks down and sees a reflection from an area much lower than the subject. You need a white reflector from the floor all the way up to a foot or two above the subject. And you need it as close as possible to the subject, just out of the frame of the shot.
