Of course I have, Pails of it

But over the years clients have gradually started coming to me for my original designs and that includes choosing woods for their natural color.

I'm not against enhancing a woods color but if they ask for a dark walnut stain on maple I gently dissuade them..

If you've got it, it's only money. Personally I like the kitchen, although if that glass backsplash is ridged I would hate to have to clean it. As far as the photos are concerned, I think you did a very nice job. The only things that I didn't like were the bananas and the three white balls(?) in front of the sink. I found them very distracting.

I thought about removing them but made a snap decision that they would give some life to an otherwise stark setting.

The little balls I actually liked because of their "eye slits" but the bananas have a weird color cast from the pot light and the paper roll is hardly attractive.

Also the toaster on the left could have been removed or posed a little better

The more I think about decorative objects in the image the more I feel they should be removed altogether.

After all these images are meant for the maker to promote his work and not for publication in a decorating magazine..

Is there a happy medium ?
