We have created this new forum for display, discussion and critique of all things related to creating images for use in marketing and promotion of goods and services.
That's the acid test for posts on this forum: —is it about illustrating goods and services for use in the commercial marketplace? If it is, you're in the right place. Post your images, ask your questions and describe your techniques on the business of getting from that little spark in the AD's head to the finished image in print or on the web. This forum is for professionals and aspiring professionals alike... or just photographers interested in knowing how commercial images are made. There is no skill level or experience requirement. I do ask that old hands be patient and helpful with less experienced photographers and for those wishing to learn about the business to please respect the tried and true opinions of working photographers. All interaction is expected to be at the very least cordial and respectful... that goes double for disagreements. Disagree all you want but keep the discussion on track and positive. Humor is always welcome and the preferred way to blow off steam. The idea is to always produce something better than we started with or pocket new tools and ideas for future projects. I'll be updating this post as we go with guidelines and ideas. Please contact me via PM if you have ideas to make this forum more valuable. Invite your colleagues and friends to join the Camel and participate! That's all for the moment. Thanks, Chip __________________
